The project to be implemented will support the development of a residential complex in Pelekas area in the municipality of Katerini, following the standards of social housing, pursuant to the national legislation, namely Article 159 ("temporary relocation of specific social groups") of Law 4483/2017 (GG 107/A/31-7-2017) and is distinct part of a wider, complex initiative to develop an integrated Roma inclusion package of measures, co-financed by national resources, the (EEA) Financial Mechanism (FM) and European Social Fund [ESF] resources. The co-ordination of individual integrated measures for housing, education, access to health and employment services will contribute to Roma community inclusion and empowerment in Katerini.
