NOTICE FOR EXTENDED DEADLINE

There is an extended deadline of the Call for Proposals for the Small Grant Scheme 2 "Promotion and Support of Roma children in summer camps and community activities". The new deadline for the proposals’ submission is set on March 16th 2023, at 15.00 (local time). The amended Call has been uploaded to the portal of Diavgeia with the reference ΑΔΑ: 9Θ9746ΜΤΛΚ-ΛΦΠ.

On September 27th there has been an amendment issue of the Call for Proposals with ref. 2.2666/13-07-2022 entitled Small Grant Scheme 1 “Empowerment of Women and Young Roma” of the programme "Roma Inclusion and Empowerment" in terms of a) the co-financed public expenditure for the implementation of the First Small Grant Scheme (SGS1) and b) the deadline for the proposals’ submission.

Namely, the new funding amount is set to €1,000,000.00 €, following the amendment of the Programme Agreement between the Donor States and Greece, which provides for the additional funding of the SGS1.

The new deadline for the proposals’ submission is extended till October 17th 2022, at 15.00 (local time).

The amended Call has been uploaded to the portal of Diavgeia with the reference ΑΔΑ: 95ΗΚ46ΜΤΛΚ-5ΨΒ.

There is an extension for the deadline of the Call for Proposals for the Small Grant Scheme 1 "Empowerment of Women and Young Roma" of the EEA Grants FM 2014-2021. The new deadline is the 31st of October 2022, at 15:00 local time. The amended Call has been uploaded to the portal of Diavgeia with the reference ΑΔΑ: 9ΥΘΩ46ΜΤΛΚ-ΗΜΚ.

Representatives from the EEA Grants Office (FMO), the EU Agency for Fundamental Rights (FRA), officials from the Special Service NSRF Structure, division of Employment and Social Economy of Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs and the General Secretary for Social Solidarity and Fight against Poverty, Mr. Georgios Stamatis, visited the Roma camp at Pelekas in the Municipality of Katerini. Aim of the visit was the personal monitoring of the progress of the Predetermined Project 2, the direct communication with the leadership of the local authorities and with the local Roma community.

The visit took place on June 22nd and 23rd 2022.

The local authorities reserved a warm welcome to the delegation. The delegation visited the Roma camp twice. During the on-the-spot visits the delegates had personal discussions with the beneficiaries of the Project. The following days further technical discussions were held, in Athens, regarding the progress of the Predefined Project 1, the Predefined Project 2 and upcoming calls for the Small Grant Schemes and other issues, which are crucial to the success of the Programme.
